We build the department that turns your hospital into a destination for international patients
We install the operation that responds in under 20 minutes, quotes in under 24 hours and does not let the patient fall between one step and the next. Colombia · Dominican Republic · Costa Rica · Mexico.
We send a real international enquiry to your institution, measure what happened and deliver the diagnosis within 10 business days.
An international patient department is not one person answering WhatsApp in English
It is a structure: an owner with authority, a written ten-step journey, response times measured in minutes, defined international prices and a single record where every patient lives from the first enquiry to the contact after discharge.
When that structure does not exist, the international patient falls along the way and nobody in the institution knows where they fell. That is what we build: the structure.
Two situations. Two routes. The same discipline.
Tick the criteria your institution meets today, with evidence you can show. The route is calculated on its own.
The structure is built from scratch
- Who it is for
- Institutions that meet fewer than three checklist criteria.
- What is built
- Owner, structure, team, processes, ten-step journey, technology, prices, acquisition, dashboard and roadmap.
- Duration
- 12 months, with a verifiable milestone at 90 days.
The main leak is audited and closed
- Who it is for
- Institutions that meet three or more checklist criteria.
- What is audited
- The five leaks with their twenty control points, plus acquisition, conversion, experience, retention, referrals, competition and margin.
- Duration
- 12 months, with a verifiable milestone at 90 days.
Three levels, and the first is deducted from the other two

The value of the Assessment is fully deducted if you contract the workshop or the implementation within the following 90 days.
We start by writing to you as a patient
Ten days before the session we send your institution a real international enquiry, through its public channel, from the profile of a patient who lives in another country. Then we measure what happened: how long the first human reply took, who replied, in what language, whether they qualified the case, whether they gave a price and whether there was follow-up without the patient insisting.
That reconstruction is the first page of the report. In almost every institution we assess, it is also the page that produces the most silence in the room.

International Patient Architecture Workshop. Montería, Colombia · 6 and 7 November 2026.
Two days of work with your leadership team, plus 90 days of support. You leave with the blueprint of your institution designed and signed, not with notes.
Ten steps. Five leaks. Most measure two things.
Almost every institution measures the input —how many wrote— and the output —how many had surgery. Everything that happens in between goes unrecorded. That is where the business is lost.
Click any step of the journey to see what happens there and which leak runs through it.
The five leaks
Four happen at a specific step. The fifth runs across the whole journey and is the one that holds up the other four. Select one.
A leak is closed completely. Four half-closed leaks perform worse than one closed all the way: the patient still falls, just one step later.
Institutions where we already work with this architecture
Ophthalmology, high-complexity, dental and fertility clinics, and a trade association from the financial sector, in Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. We publish what we found and what was installed, without names and without unsourced percentages. The result figures arrive in February 2027, measured with a baseline and signed authorisation.

Manuel Rodríguez, MBA
For more than twenty years he built and sustained multi-unit operations at Burger King, Dunkin', Church's Texas Chicken, Focus Brands, Krystal and Keke's, with responsibility for 1,700 points of sale in 60 countries.
That work did not consist of selling more. It consisted of designing operations that work just as well at site number 3 as at number 300, without depending on one specific person being present.
It is the same problem a hospital that wants to receive international patients has: it does not lack demand, it lacks an operation that sustains it.
Founder of KURBUO. Author of The Power of Nonconformity and, since 30 September 2026, of El Arquitecto Empresarial.
What we do not do
We are not a marketing agency
Advertising is one piece of the architecture, not the architecture.
We are not intermediaries
We do not charge commission per patient or operate your base.
We do not run medical tourism
We do not sell packages or manage travel.
We do not promise patients
We promise an operation capable of receiving them and of not losing them.
The questions we are asked
Do you guarantee patients?
No. And be wary of anyone who does. We guarantee an operation that is installed, measured and documented. Volume depends on your medical offering, your market and the team's sustained execution.
What is the minimum investment?
The equivalent of USD 10,000 a year. The final amount depends on the size of the institution, the number of sites and the route. We tell you in the first conversation, not the fifth.
Isn't the mystery lead a trap?
It is a measurement. The report does not point at people: it points at the system. In most cases the team was doing the right thing inside a badly designed process.
How much of my team's time does it take?
The intake form, about two hours of management's time. The discovery session, 90 minutes with two or three people.
Does it help if we already tried an agency and it did not work?
It is the most common case we deal with. Advertising brought enquiries and the operation did not know what to do with them. That is the problem the growth route corrects.
